Architecture
AfriRoute is designed for enterprise routing and automation with tenant isolation, explicit governance, and deterministic auditability. This page is a reference overview of the core architecture principles.
Core principles
Tenant isolation
Every request is scoped to a tenant and rejected if scope is missing or mismatched.
Policy before action
No side effects (send/route/export) happen without policy evaluation.
Deterministic auditability
Trace IDs and evidence records make workflows attributable and reviewable.
Operational building blocks
- Environment separation (sandbox vs production) to avoid accidental live traffic.
- Scoped credentials so services only have the minimum permissions required.
- Webhook pipelines with signature verification, retries, and deduplication.
- Rate limit protection using backoff + concurrency controls.
